A few weekends ago I styled a Rainbow Party. I think this may be my favorite party that I have styled to date. The colors were so bright and fun to work with. There were so many possibilities with this theme that I had to refrain from “over doing it.” I made the cute sign using elements that I purchased from Etsy at Kellymedinastudios . The Rainbow elements that she includes in this package were very cute!! The vase held Skittles candies.
Party Favors
This was a party favor for each guest at the party. These clear plastic tubes were so much fun to use! This was my first time to use them. I simply filled them with Skittles candies, but they could be used for so many different things! I thought they would be cute if used for an invitation with a rolled up piece of parchment paper inside for a little boy’s pirate party…Arghh! If you haven’t yet stumbled onto Shop Sweet Lulu you can do so here www.shopsweetlulu.com. This is one of my favorite “go to” sites for party supplies!
Rock Candy with Rainbow embellishments. The rock candy is available in several colors on Oh Nuts! website found here. This website has a lot of yummy party snacks and candy available.
Love, love, love these red nesting suitcases!!! I found these on Shop Sweet Lulu’s website as well! I will get a lot of use out of these for sure. I found this cute idea for the rainbow Twizzler party favor on Pinterest. The download is free and is available here. The cellophane bags and chocolate coins were bought at Hobby Lobby.
Gable boxes were given to each guest to make it easier to carry their loot home from the party. Embellish with rainbow labels, red cardstock, and a little ribbon…and voila!
Goodies eaten at the party…
I think my favorite thing at the party was the rainbow colored drinks. I used red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple Gatorade. The green was actually Mountain Dew that I added green food coloring to.
Door hanger
Door hanger made from styrofoam, straight pins, and balloons. I left this on my door through St. Patrick’s Day as well
It was a very fun and colorful party! I hope you, too, will throw a Rainbow Party and have as much fun with it as I did!!!!!
